This workshop is designed around you & what you’d like want to achieve. Normally 1 to 1 so I work at your level of expertise. You learn the important skills of chocolate making in a very hands on & fun manner.
A crucial aspect of chocolate making is learning how to temper chocolate. To ensure this is fully understood you decorate a chocolate box with different coloured chocolate which you have tempered. I don’t supply the box ;you make that by spreading, cuting & assembling chocolate.
You discover how to make a perfect ganache (water & cream based) and how to make chocolates & truffles. Time permitting you’ll also make chocolate thins.
Your box is then filled with your chocolate goodies. You create a beautiful chocolate net effect lid to finish it all off in style.
The aim of the day is for you to make a box of Chocolates – not just any box – a box made from chocolate, beautifully decorated with a net style lid filled with different types of chocolates utilising various techniques. At the end of the day the box is all yours to take home.
This all takes place on the production floor of Auberge du Chocolat so you are in the hub of all the action.

Workshop is normally 10am- 3pm but we can start earlier or later. On arrival you’ll have a hot drink & chocolates while we explain the day. During a short lunch break you’ll be provided with a drink & sandwich.
There are no specific dates, it can take place on any weekday Tuesday- Friday.
